You are bidding on a World War II official U.S. Marine Corps photo titled "Ruin". The photo measures approximately 8" tall and 10" wide. The following is stamped in purple ink on the back: "RUIN---View of the destruction of a Jap sugar cane factory on Saipan, caused by the naval and aerial bombardment in support of the Marine landings. Hdqrs. No. 83,209 DIST LIST Stock WATCH YOUR CREDIT LINE OFFICIAL U.S. MARINE CORPS PHOTO". There is also a sticker adhered to the back with the same typed description of the photo.
