You are bidding on a World War II official U.S. Army Signal Corps photo of a truck being driven through muddy conditions on Ledo Road in Burma. The photo measures approximately 8" tall and 10" wide. The following is stamped in purple ink on the back: "192131-S Section of the Ledo Road showing occasional conditions. The forward truck is driven by Pvt. David Cabaries, Baltimore, Md. Burma. 6/23/44." Also stamped in purple ink is "Signal Corps Photo Please Credit Released for Publication by Bureau of Public Relations War Department". There is also a sticker on the back with the same typed description of the photo. The U.S. Army Signal Corps logo appears in the lower right corner of the photo. The photo's number "192131-S" is written in white in the lower left corner of the photo. The photo shows normal wear, does not lie flat and is in overall good condition.
