    Bougainville, 1944
    Original Vintage WWII 1940s photo I just removed from US Army Soldiers WWII Album.  Photos start out stateside training and end up overseas.  Lots of 1944-5 photos from Bougainville Campaign where he was with a heavy equipment unit running cranes.  So far I have only found his first name Don.  He wrote info on the backs of many of them.  Someone else wrote on fronts when assembling album, Mom?
