    Fall 1945 at Shiogama or at Camp Morioka
    ONE Vintage
    photo I just removed from US Army soldier Clarence A Barczak 1943-45 Photo Album.   He was first with 1253rd ENGR Combat BN at Camp Cook.  In May of 1945 Camp Bowie before leaving for Philippines he was with the 1299th Engineer Combat Battalion, The Black Devils.   Next in Sept 1945 he leaves for Japan on LST landing at Shiogama Japan on Oct 6th 1945. then at Camp Morioka, Japan.
    As usual his album a mix of 1299th Official photos,
    snapshots he took and ones he bought at PXs.
    Some when I could I left on Album paper, if not I used what he wrote in the title.  Album page paper is very crumbly.
