Description
This listing is for a lot fo three original photographs as shown. These are not reproductions or modern prints. The photos are of the US Army's 79th Division training during World War II. The approximate date of the photos is June1942. The photos came from an estate of the daughter of a US Army captain who served from 1942-1945 with the 79th Division. I have been able to confirm that the man was in the European theater from D-Day +6 through the end of the war.
The images are believed to be original prints and are printed on Velox paper which is period correct. Velox was a popular photo paper made by Kodak.
Please see the images of the actual item above for a better idea of the condition. The photos are approximately 2.75"x4.5"
