Description :
This beautiful demitasse set made in England of fine porcelain by Hammersley & Co.
Both cup and saucer have scalloped rim with golden assent.
Both cup and saucer heavily, but elegantly  decorated with all over floral patterns ( shintz ) .
Under the magnifying glass you can see the name of the artist.  F Howard ( to the left of the handle under a big rose ) .
Pattern has no name , but you can find it at  Replacements as  HAM3257, but the actual pattern number from the bottom looks like 2991, or 2491
The cup & saucer have backstamps : “ Bone China “ “ Hammersley & Co “ name and  Logo . “ Made in England “
Backstamp marks period 1939-1966 ( before it was acquired by Spode )

About Maker :
Hammersley and Co. was founded in Stoke-on-Trent  in 1887 in a plant that had previously operated under the name "Harvey Adams & Co.". Hammersley continued producing fine bone china dinnerware tableware known for its elegance until the end.
The company was purchased by Copeland (Spode) in 1966 who, in turn, was purchased by Royal Worcester in 1976. Fine bone china tableware continued being produced under the Hammersley name until 1988.
Condition:
Very condition, no cracks, scratches , breaks, discoloration.There is one chip at the rim of the cup, but it is not significant , hard to notice , only feels with your finger.
There are some signs of wear on the golden rim, but the overall condition is very good.
