    Description

    A huge magnificent Chinese Cabinet Armoire of superb craftsmanship.
    Note the
    bottom apron of intricately carved foo dogs and bats.
    Slotted joinery along edges, front, sides, back.
    Mortise and tenon joints. Superior Old Chinese joinery.  This piece came
    from an estate in Connecticut with extensive collection of antiques from China.
    The finished grain of the hardwood.  It is very heavy.
    There is an age crack up along the back leg that does not effect the strength (see photo)
    and a age crack next to the carved bottom to the right (see photo).
    It is signed on the inside of the cabinet.
    It looks like someone added a top slated section and pole hook but that can easily come
    out.  The rest is original.
    6'.8" x 3'10". 1'10" depth.
    80"Tall x 46" Wide x 22"Deep.
    This is a huge piece.  And very heavy.  Only a truck or very large cargo van will due for pick up.  Please make sure you
    have help as I can not help with physical distancing.
